Lead Animator on Garden of Life’s Hero Anthem, a U.S.-wide campaign led by Temple Caché. Together with a wildly talented team, we brought the brand to life in a vibrant mixed-media collage world.

Temple Caché hired me as a freelance animator to help bring Garden of Life’s Hero Anthem to life. The agency led the project’s foundation: storyboards, art direction, collage asset creation, and the core visual vision built around the idea that the Garden of Life logo is a portal into a hidden world: lush, handcrafted, and buzzing with purpose. From there, we shaped the film’s cinematic language together, aligning on pacing, camera intention, and transitions so the journey felt fluid and emotionally grounded.

Cinematic Journey

The film unfolds as a single continuous travel: a smooth POV camera moving through a surreal garden where scale shifts, layers reveal depth, and nature feels both poetic and tactile warm analog craft blended with a more contemporary, dimensional look. I executed the animation entirely in After Effects, using a 3D camera inside a layered 3D space with 2D mixed-media elements, deep parallax, and complex transition work to keep the viewer “inside” the world at all times.

Live-Action Integration & Compositing

Live-action talent and product footage was integrated and composited to interact naturally with the collage environment, maintaining cohesion across illustration, photography, and video. Shot by shot, the focus was on micro-detailtiming, texture, depth, and continuity so every frame feels alive: from the camera’s breath-like movement to the smallest petals and light flickers that make the garden feel real.

Traceability condenses Garden of Life’s quality standards into a fast, readable visual beat. I brought the certification story to life by integrating key third-party badges, USDA Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, NSF Certified Gluten-Free, and B Corp seamlessly into the mixed-media collage world. The goal was simple: make trust feel immediate, cohesive, and alive.
